Should the Argonauts check in with Anthony Lanier or Micah Johnson to add a veteran presence at DT?

Johnson for sure. Oakman would be a good addition but he seemed to fall out of favor early last season.

According to 3DN, the Argos have lost DeShawn Amos to Hamilton and Fraser Sopik to Calgary. The Amos departure explains the signing of Darrius Bratton while the writing was on the wall for Sopik's departure when Ryder Varga became an Argo.

As for the money available for free agents especially on the D-line, I wonder if there are players on the neg list who are at the end of the road in the NFL that the Argos can entice to come. I would also think that this may influence the Argos draft strategy as I can see them taking a top D-lineman in the first round. Queen's Darien Newell comes to mind here.

James Craig will also be a candidate to replace Amos.

Falling out of Chris Jones’ good books isn’t a negative. I’d love to see Oakman back. He’s only 33 and would bring much needed physical presence and leadership to the line.

I’d also bring Acheampong back, I thought he showed a lot of promise when he was here and it looks like he didn’t get a fair shake last year.

How about Dylan Wynn, only 31 and one of the most consistent D-lineman of the past 8 years. Maybe he’s got one more big season in him. There’d sure be some sweet symmetry bringing back a member of the 2017 cup champs.

Sorry Rich, I meant Oakman seemed to fall out of favour with the Argos early last year.

Acheampong is a guy I would talk to, Dylan Wynn no thanks.

Kenneth George Jr may also be under contract still. However, I think the most likely candidate here will be Darrius Bratton.

Thanks Will I saw that. It looks like the interior...we'll I guess the DEs too will be inexperienced with TC battles determining who plays.
