This was definitely noted by those in attendance on Monday at the scrimmage. I understand Tyshon Blackburn has been banged up a little bit so, presumably, Slywka has been filling in.

I also noticed Quincy Mauger playing a lot of safety while Donald Rutledge lined up at strong side LB.

Tricky Dick Thornton was a great one, but back in the day when lots of guys played some both ways in the CFL.

Jan Carinci is an example from a bit more recent Argo history; could play both safety and slotback, and also a pretty good punt returner.

Mauger did play at safety with BC before he came here so that is a possibility. Does anyone know what happened with Rutledge in WPG, was he hurt or did he just fall out of favor?
