He now cannot practise with the team until the week before Labour Day, which will be the sixth game.
That’s only if he stays on the list. The minimum amount of games you have to sit is 2, so theoretically that can pull him off after next week’s game.
Not saying I expect it, but I really think the reason they put him on the list is to not have to explain his status every week.

Watching TSN during the half time last night, I could have sworn LaPo said Ryan Hunter is done for the year.
I didn't hear that but it's possible that I missed it. Officially, Hunter is out for 6 to 8 weeks.
Obviously time will tell, but I think it's reasonable to assume that both Hunter and Dankwah are done for the year. We don't know details of Hunter's accident but it's hard to imagine a shoulder injury healing fast enough for a guy who plays in the trenches to be able to get back at it in relatively short order. Maybe Hunter's a fast healer but I'm not counting on his return this season.

I heard him say that as well, not sure if it was a slip up or they know something more than what is currently public knowledge.

I see that Makai Polk got cut by the Falcons. Maybe there is a chance that he could be back up here by Labour Day, if not sooner. What a boost to the offense that would be.

Wow, I thought he'd at least get a preseason game or two. Love to have him back, and I'd say chances are good because NFL teams aren't adding guys at this point. Getting him back would create a roster issue -- we wouldn't sit Daniels or Coxie, obviously, so an INT would have to be removed elsewhere, and a NAT receiver would see less playing time. But that would be a nice problem to have.
They are fools down there if they don’t want Polk. Maybe he’s got the wrong agent. Who wouldn’t want to see him back in double blue? He developed a nice long ball chemistry with Chad as the season developed, something we’ve really missed.

An undrafted free agent from the CFL will always have an uphill climb to get a serious chance to make an NFL roster. It's just the way the pecking order goes down there.
