Don't think Crum is consistent enough throwing from the pocket to be a long-term starter. Good backup though, and tough as nails.

I agree. He's probably close to his ceiling right now.

Watching games on TSN from TD Place, it appears like they are playing on a poorly lit street...add in those all black uniforms that Ottawa wears, this may sound strange, but I find it hard to watch, it's almost depressing.

I read at some point that the upcoming renovations will fix this issue but it's noticeably bad right now. It reminds me a bit of the poor lighting at old Empire Stadium in Vancouver. I was always concerned that players would get mugged in the dark endzones in that stadium.

Imagine what it's going to be like for the two years when the north stand has been demolished.

I believe Crum has all the tools to become a top CFL QB, but it won't happen for another couple of years.

Watching Harris, Collaros, Fajardo and Arbuckle over the years, it seems to me most CFL QB's have to go through a considerable period of getting the snot kicked out of them before they can put it all together and perform at a top level. The Kellys and the pre-NFL Rourkes, who can come out of nowhere and play at a top level, are a rarity.

Crum is only 26.
