I see Bovine loading up on throws to superstar Kenny Lawlor did not work out so well today for the Ticats, in a beat down by the Blue Bombers; Lawlor now has 71 catches on the season on 118 targets, for easily the worst % in the league there.

On a related side-note - Kevin Mital leads the entire CFL in receptions with 84 (on 99 targets).

I love Mital, but that is a stupid comparison. 90% of his catches are 1-5 yards down field. Thus his less than 10 yards per catch average.

Again, when you are catching screens and flats off the RPO, you are going to tally tons of YAC. Lawlor is catching passes 30+ yards down field. You don’t get YAC on those types of plays. Why don’t you compare yards per catch and TD’s. Do you even understand what you are watching?
Mital has been excellent. Nobody is arguing that fact. You just seem to be arguing with yourself.
