He has been in Winnipeg 12 years? Become their all time winning coach. He is 55. Come home and coach Argos for 12 more. Become Torontos all time winning coach. Win a few more championships and secure your place in CFL alltime greatness. He knows first hand the shitshow it is to play and coach in this market and he always signed up to be here. Practicing with no changeroom because it burned down in Mississauga. Always being behind Leafs, Jays, Raptors, Soccer. I don't think he loves being in the media. He won't need to worry about that anymore.ARGO57 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 10, 2025 5:24 pmOr how motivated O’Shea is to make a change? Will wrote: ↑Mon Nov 10, 2025 1:33 pm https://x.com/TSNDaveNaylor/status/1987 ... 14174?s=20

Mike O'Shea has had an incredible run in Winnipeg, but after this year, cracks have begun to show, and the team may have crested the hill so to speak. So in that respect, this could be a good time for him to make a move. If the Argos make the right offer, I think this is really doable.

The 3downnation.com podcast did a good job this week breaking down what is going on with the Argos organization. While other teams have 6 or 7 football operations people working, the Argos are effectively down to two in Pinball and John Murphy. Why Mike O'Shea would want to walk into a situation like this is a good question. John Hodge says that talk is ramping up that Chris Jones will get the HC job in Toronto.

Chris Jones does not deserve to be anything but a Defensive Coordinator for now. He burned Edmonton to the ground. Before that he had Gm Coach duties in the best CFL market in Saskatchewan and flipped them off for a small positional role on a horrendous Cleveland team. He cant be trusted and shouldn't be trusted again until he proves he's changed.ArgoRavi wrote: ↑Wed Nov 12, 2025 2:10 am The 3downnation.com podcast did a good job this week breaking down what is going on with the Argos organization. If Mike O'Shea won't come look elsewhere.

Or better yet fix the personnel dept of the Argos. As I say and will continue to say to Keith Pelley just let Pinball go back to running this thing. He was doing pretty good until Rogers bought the whole cow.

O'Shea was just in town and obviously has listened to the Toronto offer. Hope Pelly made a generous offer to O'Shea both financially and with respect to his control of player personnel.

Both Magri and Russell left (and weren't replaced) long before MLSE took over.Scooter McCray wrote: ↑Wed Nov 12, 2025 4:01 pm Or better yet fix the personnel dept of the Argos.
