Guess we'll have to agree to disagree about the pizza - ha!!IssuesMcgee wrote: ↑Wed Jul 31, 2024 10:42 pmDeep dish is better.kellynjk wrote: ↑Wed Jul 31, 2024 9:04 pm No, no, no - sorry but you're wrong. The best pizza in the world is the original thin crust Napoleon pizza covered with San Marzano tomatoes and mozzarella di bufala campana cheese. Additional toppings are good, but none of this silly North American nonsense of thick stuffed crust and the rest!! Nothing beats it!!!![]()
I think the Argos defence has a good shot at beating the Calgary Stampeders.

Re: Game Thread: Toronto Argonauts @ Calgary Stampeders
I have mixed feelings about this game.
Argos should be in a good position to win, if they can get their offence going consistently. Calgary has been really inconsistent this year and their QB play has been spotty.
But, if I recall correctly, Argos historically have not played as well in Calgary. In fact, I looked it up and head to head Calgary has a 70% winning percentage against the Argos at home. And for whatever reason, it sometimes seems to me that Dinwiddie lets Dave Dickenson, his old HC, get into his head.
All of above, and factoring in that Calgary was embarrassed in Ottawa last week, they should come out firing.
Coin toss.

The most overrated pizza in the world is the so called original. I don’t care if I get banned from Italy for saying that.kellynjk wrote: ↑Wed Jul 31, 2024 9:04 pm No, no, no - sorry but you're wrong. But more importantly, no views on pizza?RB957 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2024 10:15 am I have mixed feelings about this game.

Seriously, I agree with everything you said. It’s easy for an Argos fan to think this should be a victory. But with our current QB situation, no such thing as an easy one.

Argos had a nice streak going winning at McMahon three (3) straight years between 2011-2013, but haven't had much success there since, having just won in 2021. Heck, even the venerable 1991, 1996, 1997 and 2023 teams lost at McMahon.

Now that the Food Network group has moved along, back to Sundays game. I didn't see Ottawa beat down Calgary last Friday night, but was told Maier was running for his life for a good portion of it. There is a possibility 2 couple of starting Stamps OLinemen could be out this week and with the possible return of DE Foloario O, the Argos should grind out a win in a place that hasn't been friendly in recent years.

Is Brissett still out on the injured list?
Re: Game Thread: Toronto Argonauts @ Calgary Stampeders
Good news and bad news on the injury front. Based on Dinwiddie media availability today: Good news is that Flo Orimolade is back. Bad news, looks like Wynton McManis will not, with a hamstring injury. Other than that, most guys not on the 6 game list, appear healthy.
