with a good team, and just a little bit of a business plan you can sell Bmo out 9 times a year plus playoffs. With just a little bit of effort and consistent marketing plans
it's amazing that apparently nobody has thought of that
I think the problems are deeper and require more than just a business plan. Putting up a few billboards or running some ads aren't going to fix 40 years of declining interest in a crowded and changing market. I'm happy just to see incremental progress year-over-year.

There has been no business plan since MLSE took over. I do believe that had the team had a dedicated business management team in place over the last 8 seasons since they've been at BMO and just done some basic consistent approaches they would have made enough inroads to sell 25,000 per game or 250,000 per season. It's simple hard work and attitude. In those 8 seasons the team has been very good winning 2 championships, finishing first 4 times, and hosting playoffs 5 times (assuming this year).

Here's another example today. Not just no business plan, but willful and conscious neglect of ownership. I saw a TV ad for the Princess Margaret Lottery. MLSE is a major donor/sponsor. In the ad one of the prizes is season tickets to Leafs, Raptors and FC. No mention of Argos

The Redblacks injury report is getting better. They may yet go down swinging hard. We might have a game on our hands against a desperate opponent. Argos need to tend to business

I have noticed that for a while. How hard can it be to add Argos' season tickets to that prize as well?

The Redblacks may have some key players back, including Dru Brown at QB. I think that Brown has been decent this year but hasn't exactly blown me away. His two best games were in Edmonton and at home to BC but he has been mostly ordinary otherwise.

The "Experts" are split 50/50 in their predictions. Ottawa looks healthier but they can't beat Eastern Football Conference opponents nor can they win on the road.

Ka'deem Carey was a full participant at practice yesterday, which is great news. Got to keep that three-headed monster intact.

Bold Prediction: If we don't gift them the devil's own amount of turnovers again, we destroy them.
So much on the line here. But with The Chad's efficient play and fair weather, I can see this as a payback game for us. Then we can use the Edmonton game to get some game time for the players returning from injury and to rest a few banged up guys who need a week.

Should be easy, right? Either people working at MLSE responsible for this are unaware 9 years later they own the Argos, or they don't want to do it - by it I mean promote the Argos. Neither is good for the football team.
