Ummmm, why weren't either of O'Connor or Merchant in a CFL TC last year, getting to compete at QB for a team in need? I thought they were both injured / damaged goods? I think u know the real reason.

Maybe the 5 picks they threw against Mexico answers your question, OV.

On another note, Mexican kicker Alfredo Gachuz Lozada, who has been with the Argos the past three years, wore his Argos helmet for this game:

Exactly right Ravi: the CFL "scouts" have been following those, and all other top Canadian QBs closely, for years now. They realize they have "weak arm strength" and inferior training and would be prone to throw all kinds of picks. No way any of those QBs could compete in a CFL TC with Brian Scott, Shea Patterson, Tucker Horn, Jarret Doege, Tyrie Adams, Matt Schitz or James Morgan types.

By winning Bronze Medals in Dusseldorf today, both Men and Women have qualified for 2028 LA Summer Olympics. The speculation and ongoing roster discussions can begin in earnest over the next 24 months. I don't like LaPolice as a head coach, or a broadcaster, but he has done an admirable job in short time with our Men's team with no previous background in flag football. Congratulations. On to LA 2028.
