It might make a hell of a book, but someone else would need to take that project on. I'm still not done the book I started almost three (!) years ago. Fell behind for various reasons, haven't been able to get it over the finish line yet.
But, you're the only professional writer here (to my knowledge).
Might depend on how one defines "professional." If making money is involved, I'm a rank amateur.

One clarification, Paul - the Argos were underdogs by, I believe, 3 points in 1983. I remember that because I was ticked off about it.
Unless you are a gambler, you should never be ticked off about a point spread in a game. It really means nothing in the end.
My almost 14 year-old self saw that as a sign of disrespect.

2004 - from what I recall, this team started out well at 5-2 before Damon Allen got hurt. They struggled a little bit under Bishop, although he did manage a .500 record before Allen came back to finish the season. The Argos were playing pretty well offensively under Allen in the summer, but from what I recall it wasn't as strong over the rest of the year. This team relied on defense and special teams to win its playoff run, though Allen was awesome in the Grey Cup game. It's a toss up as to whether this team was better than 2024, imo.
2012 - this team was not as strong as 2024, imo. It really only got hot at the right time (end of season/playoffs), although it should be noted that Ricky Ray got hurt. Still, I don't recall the team being world beaters with him in the lineup. I believe they finished with a negative point differential.
2017 - this team was 9-9, but they were 5-2 in the latter half of the season. Ricky Ray had an MOP like season and the defense was very good. I still can't rank this team higher than 2024 due to the slow start.
2022 - this team did finish the season 8-2 (I think), with some (but not all) of the same personnel. The special teams in 2024 was better, but I cannot recall if the defense was better (I think it may have been a bit more consistent over the season). Might be a bit of a toss-up here as well.

Write a book about a hockey team that hasn't won a championship in 57 years, make tons of money, and then write a book about the Argos who for all of their 9 championships in those 57 years overcame obstacles and apathy that would destroy most franchises

Home teams typically get three points, so one could argue it would have been a pick'em spread on a neutral field.

Your efforts chronicling the Argos are greatly appreciated.

BC had home-field and had a much easier time of beating Winnipeg in the WF compared to Toronto with Hamilton.

LOL. Spreads aren’t set by who the books think is the better team. They are set on where they want the money to go.

In terms of drama (from dramatic to least dramatic):
1. 2022 - Kelly having to replace MBT; the Robbie Smith facemask; the Robbie Smith FG block
2. 1983 - broke the drought; 2nd half comeback; must've been a long 3 minutes for those who were around
3. 2017 - snow game, Cassius Vaughn fumble recovery when it looked like CGY was going to put game away, Matt Black INT
4. 1996 - the "fumble," Adrion Smith INT, the snow, winning at IWS
5. 2024 - wasn't a blowout until 3 minutes left, but can't rank it higher than others
6. 1991 - Rocket return, Dunigan shoulder, but Argos had this game (mostly) under control
7. 2004 - tight game, but Argos built out 1st half lead and never looked back
8. 2012 - 100th Grey Cup win, but CGY was never in the game
9. 1997 - a few anxious moments early, but SASK was done by halftime
