How can the league think this is remotely acceptable? 3 home games in Ham, Wpg, Saskatchewan against those same teams? And they have to play those teams again for their Away games? Those are the most difficult stadiums to play in. Football is the most difficult sport to play on the road. This is a fatal competitive disadvantage for one team. Where's Rogers in all of this fighting for their team. Pelley?

Pelley is going across the country selling Leaf jerseys.

This was 100% driven by money. The football side of the equation was deemed insignificant. MLSE reckons it will make more money from games in those cities than it would at BMO, even factoring in the extra travel costs.

I expect to see a significant drop in the cost of my seasons next year.
This is a lot of BS just to host what I presume will be soccer teams from countries most people in Toronto have never heard of at BMO.

In 2015 the Argos were on the road for a few "home" games as well (Ft. McMurray and Hamilton) and did okay but this proposal is a worse situation than that. "Home" games in Winnipeg and Regina? If those are not against the Bombers and Riders that would be better but how many fans could you expect to show up in those cities if they are not? Argos get severely mistreated once again and it becomes that much harder for the coaches and players to navigate the nonsense.
Argos had only 5 true home games in 2015 and still went 10-8. They effectively played neutral site games in Fort McMurray and two in Hamilton, along with a "home game" in Ottawa against the Redblacks. The plan for 2026 looks even worse.

I have never trusted Keith Pelley.

"Pull Together" Argos should be allowed to play the team fight song in those new "Home" stadiums so there is that...
Thanks to all those who worked so hard to make this happen.

I know someone who was in Radio & Television Arts at Ryerson with him. They told me that he was very selfish. Did little in group work but was quick to take accolades. And would throw teammates under bus if work was subpar.

Because they lose money on game days at BMO? Cost to put on game is greater than what they bring in in terms of ticket sales?

All of us should rent out our homes for those six weeks to Europeans and South Americans. Take the massive rent, have a nice European vacation and still have enough cash leftover to buy the Argos
