I see 3DownNation has posted a list of the Redblacks free agents. Just over 35 names, compared to Toronto's 23.
I wonder if there is anyone there who would be much of an upgrade over the players Toronto already have.

I would love to see the team get Adebeboye back.

I asked Adarius Pickett on Twitter whether he would entertain a return to Toronto for 2026. Not surprisingly, he didn't answer - and probably can't - but did like my tweet. I am sure he would go anywhere where the price is right, but I doubt the Argos will make him the highest offer.

Here is the list.
Not much on that list to get excited about, Daniel Adeboboye and Robert Priester would be the only ones on my list.

Pickett, Adeboboye, and Priester.

Lucas Cormier - played him at W-OLB and he was a real play-maker there; but a former 3 time AUS all-star safety as well - versatile young D player.
Adeboboye would be on the list, and Pickett too - both come back to the Argos ... doubtful though.

I see the Elks have 22 players on their free agent list. A couple of former Argos. I think Barlow and Ceresna played well for the Argos but were just average this past year.

I'd love to get Gittens, Ceresna and Smith back from Edm. Smith is not heading into free agency but will be released if he doesn't renegotiate his contract, I expect.

I wonder how much of the old band would want to come back? Hopefully a few. They win here. Not so much elsewhere. That includes Dejon Allen and Kadeem Carey. Neither really played for their new teams.

The Argos have announced two re-signings today - linebackers Jordan Herdman-Reed and, one of OV's favourites, Ryder Varga.
