Adeleke, Ceresna, Giffen, Nield and Ungerer are all "out" for the Mtl game.
If Adeleke & Ungerer were both "full" participants at practice this week, why would they be listed as "out" for the upcoming game ?
Maybe there's no room for a couple of more Canadians on the game roster ? Gotta always max out on number of Americans dressed, even if it's new guys with zip-o experience / nothing proven ?

A lot of smoke and mirrors looking at these injury reports, pointless trying to figure it out.

They may be waiting another two games for salary cap purposes to get them back into the lineup, OV. Having said that, I too am anxious to see them both play - Canadian or American or Global, these guys can help this team a lot.

Yikes! Tomorrow night's game could be tough, especially as Montreal has been looking unbeatable lately, winning 13 games in a row (since late last season) and all aspects of their team are firing on all cylinders.

Just because a guy goes "full" in practice does not mean he is necessarily ready to play. Going full simply means you're not prevented from doing any of the drills. You still have to be evaluated -- and evaluate yourself -- for game-readiness. I think it's pretty evident the Argos would not go with just one backup receiver (Janarion Grant) if either Nield or Ungerer were healthy enough to dress. That's a thinner roster than any coach would like at his disposal.

Only one back-up receiver dressed and it's your main kick-returner = not too bright IMO; and I guess K. Mital has some nasty injury keeping him out? Be nice to know at least something about the nature of all these injuries.
M. Pearce demoted to the PR ? With zip-o experienced to replace him? Have to think the new DCs might have some different schemes AND different ways of evaluating & deploying talent vs. the way Mace saw things.

The Als are due for a loss and on a very short week.

The Argos are already forced to dress five INT receivers because four of their five NATs are on IR. The only way to have a second backup receiver would be to take out another INT somewhere else, and dress an INT receiver who has never played in the CFL.
Given that Mital is not even appearing on the weekly injury report and is on the six-game, it seems pretty clear he has a serious injury that prevents him from playing. As do, unfortunately, three other NAT receivers, which has screwed up not only an area of depth but the NAT/INT ratio.
It sure would be great to know more about injury statuses, but that would require beat reporters attending practice and asking the coach questions every day. Those days are long gone.

Ungerer is a full participant in practice but unable to dress as a back-up.
Didn't hear at all what happened to Mital during ex. game to see him so injured.
The Argos just signed BC TC cut - DE Daniel Joseph (and he is dressed for this game as a 4th string DE i guess?); there are numerous Canadian receivers out there (all with extensive experience in and understanding of the Canadian game) who were cut in this year's CFL TCs, including some former draft picks = hard to believe none of them could have been signed in a huge area of need.
Some of this year's roster moves (or lack thereof) seem very odd or questionable - even with RD the same HC in place ? Maybe it's just me thinking that.
