It's an odd coincidence.
I think there's another football law. The Ticats and the Argos cannot both be good simultaneously.

Hah. I suppose it's all a matter of who shall prevail at the time: good or evil.

Assuming the Argos have a big lead by the half, it might be an idea to give Arbuckle or Horn second half snaps.

Also a big week for the crossover spot. If Calgary wins it gets interesting. I have both Sask and the Bombers losing.

Could also see Hamilton beating the Elks to bring them back to earth and reality.

I'll take the EE slaughtering the Pussycats, especially if the roll with Frosty at QB

Also take the RedBlacks to get their first win over a Dickenson coached Stumps team.

Right now, I'd bet big on the Bombers being the cross-over team. And a good thing for the Argos.

In 2015, the Argos went 10-8, despite only playing 5 true home games, and the Jays made the playoffs and won a couple of rounds. That's the closest they've ever been to being good at the same time.

Its bloody warmer in Winterpeg today than here. 27 C versus only 21 C here daytime highs. Sunny as well. Weather will not be a factor tonight with 21 C feeling like 23 C at kickoff. Wind gusting from the south at 36 km/h may play a part. But their stadium is sunken into the ground and the stands provide more wind protection than the old Winnipeg stadium.

Argos last visit West until they play Grey Cup game in Calgary.

Hopefully the lads after 2 home games are ready to flex on the road and make a statement.

I am not liking the vibes I have been hearing regarding the Argos rest of the season being somewhat meaningless. I hope they haven't bought into that. As long as there is a mathematical chance of catching Montreal, they need to be all in every game.

Nice seeing John Hodge on the X and O's pre game podcast. These podcasts are pretty good if your not aware... always difficult to hear ARGO talk in this market.... Go ARRGOS !!!!!

Would be nice to see the Bombers or even the Riders in cross over.... since we didn't get to see them in the regular season.

100% agree with this. Your not in first, you mathematically can still finish first. Go for it. Keep your focus. They have lots to work on and get better at. They are going to get one of Winnipeg, Calgary, BC, or Saskatchewan in a semi final game. Each of these teams present big challenges and then after that, you play the best team in the league, and then if you do that you earn the right to play for a championship. Why not go for first.
Media types are talking that way, but thankfully I don't hear it from players or coaches.

I hate the expression CFL season begins at Labour Day. But for the Argos in 2026 it's true. The season became balanced and normal after the absurdity of their first 2/3 schedule. So proper evaluation of what this group can be could only really begin at that point.

Would like to see them press on. Their competition will be the rest of the way as they all have lots to play for....Winnipeg, BC, Ottawa, Montreal.

Too bad they are not owned by a media conglomerate that could provide easy content distribution and discussion on their team.
