Well right now they're 4-2 and a game ahead of the Argos for 2nd in the East.
Can't ignore them, that's for sure.

Umm - NO - they are a mediocre team at best with real weak/dumb coaching.
And holes galore on their defence.
IF Dedmon could stay healthy he at least would provide some big play / game breaker stuff from the return game (see J. Grant)
Brown is looking Ok at best at QB IMO, but he has a pretty decent receiver corps to work with.
Looking forward to the Argo visit here in Sept.; if the Argos lose that one .... I dunno what that will say ?
Now I think I know what OV stands for...
I used to think it was Old Vienna beer from Carling O'Keefe in the 1970s, but now I think it stands for Ottawa Vanier. Is that correct?
The game tonight will tell me who Ottawa are. If they win they will be 5-2 for the first time since 1978. The 1978 Ottawa Rough Riders were the best football team to not get to a Grey Cup game or win it. Stacked top to bottom. Clements and Holloway, etc

Redblacks running over the Stamps. Good for them.

Their speed on D came through big time, and that Pimple dude is making plays.

Close - Ottawa Valley lad here; i used to like OV beer too though.
Most complete game of the season by the RedBlacks IMO; still don't think they are very good, but the Stamps offence was useless and Dickenson is clueless as a HC - they should fire his ass out of town IMO.
Pimpleton is a dangerous new weapon for the Ottawa offence; but their run game is mediocre and Brown is living off mostly dink & dunk with a few intermediate throws - almost zero deep passing game. Maybe their D is better than I thought, but IMO their secondary can be burned by a team with some guts to their passing game.

RB's win again...... good CFL game tonight. Ottawa has several QB's.....Our last home game is against the RB's.... might be critical game... glad for Masoli.

Games against eastern opponents will be critical in the second half of the season for our Argos.

The Ottawa RedBlacks are a resilient football team who now knows they can compete with and beat any CFL team so yes they are a good football team.
As Ravi correctly pointed out the Argos need to step it up and string together some wins in the second half of this season or they will be on the road in the playoffs.

I hate the Redblacks.
How many games is is that Lewy Ward has won for them? That luck has got to run out sometime.
Still, Argos can take care of business with them.
