MBT made it a really big deal to go back south to be with family and yet he is still playing in Canada, further away from California. That absence only lasted one season.
I was on team MBT until his comments regarding the Elks grasping at straws with Tre Ford. Must be a bitter pill to swallow for him, but he showed a lack of class there. I never thought he was like that.

MBT screwed up big time with those comments which came off as bitter and petty.

He's definitely a unique personality. Good luck with him, Als.

MBT talked a lot about brotherhood and he didn't even celebrate with his team or his fans after the Argos won in 2022. Then he made an extremely dramatic exit from the CFL that included a goodbye letter, only to come back after a year.
After that, it became apparent to me that he's just a silly man.

Former Argo DE prospect Ife Onyeka has signed with Eastern Football Conference rivals Montreal.

Two notable cut in Montreal today include veteran RB Walter Fletcher and Canadian QB Jonathan Senecal, who was the team's 7th round draft choice.

Well, one notable anyway.

Not that surprised on Fletcher, because of a) - price tag, and b) - he is a good, shifty little back and good receiving RB, but just not enough pop to be a main RB for a team that wants a run game; so maybe they are going more ground game with a more powerful RB (and vet Thomas-Erlington could easily start there, if not for his passport)
Senecal was likely drafted more for a local interest story to maybe generate some TC PR or sell a few ex. game tickets to Carabins fans. He had zero chance to honestly compete at QB there (or with any other CFL team) - just missing something on his resume / not quite right.

One courtesy drive = he showed nothing in camp.

You were there at Als TC? - I missed your reports; how many reps did Senecal get and how did he look ? Probably "weak arm strength" held him back ?
