Arbuckle has been in this league for five or six seasons. He's with an OC who knows what he can do, and he has good weapons around him. He's ready for this.

I want to echo what others have posted. People are entitled to their opinions of Chad Kelly. But celebrating his injury exposes them for what they are. All of these people need to work on themselves rather than continue to spew and project their hatred onto him.

As I watched the 4th Quarter, I felt Argos could pull it out, but in the moment I was still thinking what does it matter, they can't win Grey Cup now.
But today I feel the exact opposite. Arbuckle did what he needed to cold off the bench. A more than full week with his full contingent of weapons to practice with and a coach who knows him and the situation to work with him full-time means they can do this. Special teams and Defence will elevate their games. And the motivation to win this for themselves and their QB in an upside down season, I would not bet against them.
Arbuckle was supposed to be the starter in 2021 and the only reason he lost that job was an inability to protect the ball. He really seemed to improve on that front this season. Remember that he beat Winnipeg, when their defence was at its peak, in the home opener in 2021.

And that was the juggernaut Winnipeg team. MBT just won over the coaches more, rather than anything Arbuckle was doing wrong. He was turning the ball over but that got worse in Ottawa and Edmonton. He seems to have that under control. As a vet, I expect him to rise to the occasion and embrace the opportunity he has in front of him now. Grey Cup week won't be a distraction for him. He is mature.

Watching the games on TV there is a commercial for Bell with Scottie Barnes and Jack Armstrong who I think is past his best before date. He has fully embraced his clown act.
Raptors are a horrible team, Armstrong is a joke. The playoff games like drew over 1 million viewers each and the GC hopefully over 5 million.
Viewership for Raptors must be nearing lows not seen in many years.
Why are CFL players not used in national ad campaigns?

Despite killing any chance of a ALS comeback at the very end, as a CFL fan I hate how Dinwiddie has NFLified the last minute of the game.

What has he done to NFLify it? All teams take a knee on first down if ahead inside 45 seconds. Is there something else?

If anything, Dinwiddie's struggles to do so in the past have made for some hilariously entertaining football.

Not sure what the NFL connection is, but that last play was a backwards lateral, and thus if fumbled and kicked around = live ball that the Als could have returned for a TD = game over. Not a bright move when there was all of 3 seconds to kill; heaving a pass deep down the sideline and out of bounds does the same trick with zero chance of the Als getting their hands on the ball.

CFL players have zero hope there when it is all-American hero worshipping, bean-counters making those decisions.
The CFL has been written-off for decades now up here by all the MENSA members in the media & marketing/advertising.
