The story of Kelly meeting with Ambrosie this morning broke yesterday courtesy of TSN. I find it peculiar that neither CFL.ca or 3 Down Nation have even made mention of this....although it was great reading that Corey Mace ALMOST met some guy named Ludicrus. This is the league's reigning MVP meeting with the Commissioner seeking reinstatement and crickets. Been a fan of this league for 44 years but events like this make it difficult to remain a fan.
Something stinks when the league's website doesn't even acknowledge it.

I am totally fine with no mention of a disciplinary review of my team's QB.

Disappointing on so many levels.
Why does the league need a last chance clause?
If Chad does something inappropriate again they can suspend him again or ban him from the league.

Think you are right that the League seems to be moving the goal posts on this issue, first it was doing the course, meeting with the counsellor and now they want him to agree to this "last chance agreement."

So why couldn't the league have put the 'last chance condition' as part of the original suspension. Why is this only coming up now?

That's exactly what people are saying, that it should have been outlined upfront and not added now after Kelly has completed all of the other elements of the suspension. It makes the league look like they are making things up as they go along and that's not a good look for the CFL.

Sound like the league now wants to reserve the right to throw Kelly out of the league at their discretion if he does anything they don’t like.
