How exactly does a team get "gifted" a player if they have to trade for him?

To get to 9-9 they need to go 8-4 the rest of the way.
The sense of urgency begins right now, each loss digs the hole deeper.
Little to no margin for error at this point especially considering the possibility of a crossover so getting wins sooner rather than later alleviates the need to run the table later in the season.
To say football teams need to win games is to restate the obvious. To say the Argos didn’t play with urgency is I think wrong and unfair.
“The sense of urgency begins right now” I stand by that comment and yes indeed sitting at 1-5 they do in need to start winning games, sorry if you think this is wrong and unfair.
I agree with you that we need to play with urgency and win games. But I also think the players gave it everything they had in Montreal.

By winning the trade in a lopsided way. Surprising that you couldn’t figure that out.

100% they did Rich, no one said otherwise.
Failure to protect the ball ultimately did them in against Montreal, that was a game that should have been theirs.
The Argonauts need to come out strong against Winnipeg on Saturday and play a complete game.

Don't need to figure things out if you're a know-it-all expert.

Problem is: any football opinions that offend your simple, told by "experts", myopic notions of how football and the CFL works, gets seen as BS. The CFL to your types = my way or the hi-way. :?:

Problem is you act like you know more than coaches and personnel people. And just WTF are my types? People that don't live 50 years in the past?
