We were at the game, and I have to commend the REDBLACKS on a great game-day-information web site, full of details on how to get to the stadium, who the people being honoured were, maps of the area and more. Also impressive, the free OC Transpo bus and train rides to the stadium area itself. We wound up taking a free express bus from the stadium right back to our hotel (across the street from the St Laurent bus terminal) - all neatly outlined in the redblacks game day info site. Multiple free buses in multiple directions. ell done. Other teams could learn from this.
And what a great atmosphere around TD Place before the game. I hadn't been in a while - so nice to see all these bars and restaurants just steps from the stadium.

With all the traffic chaos around BMO, running buses to the stadium might not work here, but .... surely they could do something with GO Transit. (How about posting the times of the first few after-game departures on the scoreboard, for instance.)
Would be nice if Ottawa would get a grey cup game again. I really liked the free transport and the atmosphere when I was there.

We travelled to Ottawa in 2019 to see Hamilton play Ottawa.
Fabulous setup, as you said plenty of restaurants within steps of the stadium.
