Released at 8:20 a.m on a Sunday, lol, but the timing probably has more to do with the fact that the Argos first practice off the bye is today.

Well, there is really only one way Kelly can repair his reputation.

He needs to play some lights out football.

Then the league came down with a hammer. Way over the top for the allegations. I believe their wording on the final punish was "including, but not limited to." Nothing more than legal, weasel words.

They delayed the face-to-face meeting until 1 week prior to reinstatement. Why? They had the information that they thoroughly had to review.

During that review, they could have also communicated to the player, agent and/or Argos that part of a final resolution would be a final condition. Nope, introduced during a last minute face-to-face meeting, essentially moving the goal posts with brand new conditions.

The league's cavalier actions are clearly not in the best interests of the league, the team or the CFLPA. Total rubbish.

This mishandling continues to have a material effect on the league as the Argos continue to offer an inferior product. I for one am surprised that they aren't 0-9 at this point.

As any owner watching these multiple, you'd have to question who long you can put up with this commissioner? I'd can him tomorrow.
I agree with most of your rant here. But to say you are surprised they aren’t 0-9 at this point? I thought you believed in Pinball. That statement doesn’t show a lot of faith in him

I think this statement and the one the Argos released was a save face for the commissioner statement. I’m pretty sure MLSE flexed their muscles here. If the rumours are true of Androsie being on his way out to be replaced by former Comservative MPP Todd Smith who walked away from his post this week are true, then We know Dale Lastman and the boys laid the law down.

Can't wait for Thursday night. CNE. Big Crowd. And what I expect to be a very good football game. Harris vs. Kelly.
The way the standings are in both divisions, every game is going to be a dogfight. Compelling match-ups.

I've got my tickets for Thursday nights game, should be a good one and with the ticket getting into the CNE should be a big crowd.

Kind of stinks that, much like most of this entire saga, it's all so secretive.

Oh well, looking forward to seeing how his all works out starting Thursday. I imagine there will be some sort of media event with perhaps Pinball and Chad together within the next few days.

Looks like that is the case, as reported by Matthew Scianitti.

There is a 0.0 chance that the Todd Smith rumour is true.

Ultimately, Ambrosie got his wish here and Kelly is literally on his last chance.

I hope Kelly can keep his mouth shut and just play football.
