Maybe this is too much to ask for but it looks like Paris Shand made the Buffalo Bills. I wonder if the Argos are close to bringing back Ralph Holley since they just released Jordan Williams.

Paris Shand cut by the Buffalo Bills.
Maybe hangs around on the practice roster.

Nice problem to have, especially if Coxie is healthy. One of those LBs is coming off the roster, I'd say.
Polk added to Coxie, Herslow (really has emerged as an outstanding receiver talent), plus Brissett & Mital playing great = a just excellent corps, with Daniels & Ungerer too; can dress 6 receivers with all of them getting playing time and being productive. HC RD runs the best passing attack in the CFL and with Nick playing great too, this team might be able to go on a run with big scoring via the pass and winning shoot-outs ?
D needs to play way better, and the changes with cuts to former starters like Milton & Williams recently makes me think these Argo D coaches are a bit out to lunch in terms of both evaluating talent and with schemes. More tinkering or the addition of guys like Holley or Vilain might help, i guess, but the D coaching needs to be way smarter IMO, Why on earth has a top draft pick like Ojo - a pass rush force in college ball - been given zero chance to see if he could help? - pathetic IMO; and Blackburn deserves shots at either S-OLB or safety - he has shown he can be a D play-maker - and that is what this D lacks often. Judge & McManis are the best 1-2 punch in the league at inside LBs (IMO), but a few more guys need to step up.

I realize this transaction isn't any major, but I thought that since the team felt he was worth bringing in for a look he deserved a mention.

Ben Grant reported that Polk is signed through 2026, which is huge. He'd have been a highly coveted FA if he just played out this year's contract.

That is great. I hope they work on re-signing some of their other core players to extensions well before free agency open. McManis, Coxie, not sure of Judge’s contract status but definitely him too. Waiting for days before free agency starts can really bite them in a ass, as we have seen recently.

They do need to act with a higher sense of urgency signing players that they want to retain this coming off season.
