Heckuva game going on in Hamilton. Going to overtime. Mitchell vs. Rourke on SGA night.
I left during the third quarter because of the hour drive home. My loss.
It looked like alot of people did. The overtime crowd was no longer a sellout. Strange, their team is in a great game back and forth in the fourth quarter, going to overtime and fans leave. I get people have work the next day or whatever but why did you buy the ticket? In the hopes of going to that kind of game. As a football fan that's me, I would be tired at work. Today it is about the game day experience not as much as what is going on on the field. Which explains Blue Jays attendance. Most people have no clue about what is happening on the field at a baseball game.

Though the network might love Thursday night football, this is often what comes from it. Starting Thursday night games at 7 local time instead of 7:30 would be the first move they should make

The Saturday night games are at 7 pm when most do not work the next day. Go and figure.

I can remember games starting at 8 pm on weeknights in the 1970s and early 1980s. Different times now for sure.

The mass exodus started with about 6 minutes left in the game (including ourselves).
Many fans in their stadium seem to gather on the concourse on both sides of the stadium or the patio behind the end zone.

I see Bovine loading up on throws to superstar Kenny Lawlor did not work out so well today for the Ticats, in a beat down by the Blue Bombers; Lawlor now has 71 catches on the season on 118 targets, for easily the worst % in the league there.
On a related side-note - Kevin Mital leads the entire CFL in receptions with 84 (on 99 targets).
