Quite possible as long as the O-Line is up to snuff.

Argos sign big RB Qualan Jones who seemingly has good speed as well.
Hopefully the punishing back that can ignite their running attack.

The OLine will bounce back this year. They will Musk up right. None of that sex panther crap for 2026. Dinwiddie is long gone and he took that foul stench with him to Ottawa.

Good observations as always Craig!

Argos sign DB/LB Enock Makonzo, a former 4th overall draft pick by Chris Jones to a contract. An American R was also "inked" to a professional contract.

Both players are expected to report to camp, which is being held in Guelph ON in May.

The American WR just signed, is seriously fast.

"Dymere Miller, Rutgers' blazing wide receiver, stole the show. He ran a 4.32-second 40-yard dash, a 4.26-second shuttle, displayed a 10′4″ broad jump, 34.5″ vertical leap, and bench pressed 18 reps of 225 while standing 5′10.6″ and weighing 181 pounds"

Unfortunately, the negatives scouts reported outweigh the positives noted above and are likely the reason he hasn't stuck with an NF team.

Makonzo played very well i thought when first with the EE - and he played at S-OLB where Canadians often do not get a look; he's not going to beat out Pickett, but could be a very good back-up, plus maybe play other spots (extra LB or DB or, safety) in some D packages.

Nice to see the team pay attention to Canadian talent - signings of Kongbo, undrafted receiver Ready, and now Makonzo - and all in areas of need.

I had forgotten about Makonzo. Surprised he was out of the league last year. He has a brother that was a DB who got drafted too.

Makonzo is intriguing, but he also hasn't played a game since 2023. Two consecutive full seasons missed due to injury. If he's healthy enough to make the team, it could be a brilliant signing. Or he might never be what he once seemed destined to become.
