None of that is going to happen. As in zero chance.

looking over the last 40 yrs or so, who has done a better job than Ambrosie?
Jeff Orridge?
John Tory?
Doug Mitchell?
Larry Smith?
IMO for the last 7 seasons the CFL has settled down a lot, from the old days of
League running a team, teams folding, confusion over TV deals, etc.
Randy was far from perfect but he did a solid job IMO?
are we still steaming over the Kelly suspension, at least a little bit...

You mean like zero chance rich Canadian guys would step-up to buy both the Lions & Als ? Ok then.

His legacy will be securing strong new owners in BC and Montreal and Edmonton. But I am not so sure that wouldn't have happened without him. All 3 were fans of the teams they bought. His failure in getting the 10th team and real owners for that team tarnish the legacy, as does his handling throughout the pandemic. His mishandling of the Chad Kelly case is just the icing on the cake. Mishandling in terms of transparency and caving in to mob group think instead of a thought out process. He hasn't helped grow fan interest and tv audience in the GTA and across the country and not elsewhere in the world unfortunately, which his global initiative if executed could have done.
Orridge was worse.
Tory and Cohon were the best modern era commissioners.

Wasn't the first Montreal ownership considered a failure of sorts with Gary Stern and his elderly father in law who unfortunately passed away shortly thereafter?

The decision to move to a balanced schedule and playing the Ticats and RB's once likely main reason our attendance went up this year.
Lots of people at the last game wearing Cosco ARGO stuff. There are teams not focused on SWAG... I think the league worked a deal to make this happen.
Randy got us through pandemic... other leagues had US TV Money and media help ... CFL didn't have.
Touchdown Atlantic may have kept going longer if Randy had not stepped in. I would imagine Bill Manning was under pressure to keep us off the TFC turf and take the Big cheque.
I think he handled the Chad stuff appropriately if you consider there were very vocal people who wanted him suspended for life.
I don't mind the global player thing.
I think he did a good job but maybe there is a shelf life in these new social media days. Think they need to find someone quick IMO.
but I am usually wrong about every thing... LOL.

Doman seems to a great owner. But IMO it is foolish to think Peladeau will ultimately prove to be a team player, and the jury is still out (and will be for some time) on Edmonton's owner. He does not exactly scream "innovator" or "superb salesman."

Agree. He is obviously a passionate, long time Edmonton Elks fan and a very successful businessman. His President hire is going to be very important in the next 2 weeks.
