The D+ grade that the players gave the last coaching staff was a real eye-opener. I will admit that I didn't think that Dinwiddie calling players out last year was that big of a deal at the time because of his success from the previous four years, but it now seems like it was. I didn't like the way that Dinwiddie left the organization - I don't even think he has thanked the Argos since leaving - so my mind has now changed to this being best for all parties involved. Dinwiddie will be head coach/offensive coordinator/GM in Ottawa which seems like a lot and having that GM role may bring him into more conflict with players. We shall see.
At the introductory press conference to announce RD as the new head coach/GM of the Redblacks, the Argonauts were acknowledged "for their professionalism throughout this process" by Ottawa ownership. He did not thank his former employer (which is common practice) at that time and hasn't as far as I know know done so since. That doesn't come across as being very classy. Throwing your players under the bus publicly is not the way to conduct business in my book. That being said, I value the significant contribution RD made to the Argos. He's one of the most successful coaches in Argonaut history. It's just too bad his tenure in T.O. ended on a sour note.

Is the Have A Nap still open? A great way to save money is by staying at a motel that bills by the hour. And if the players get lonely, there are plenty of professionals around to help with that.

You can't put a price on rubbing and tugging away those sore muscles before and after a game.
