Hoping for some clarity/news soon.
It's clear from a completely football perspective that Argos need him back.

No reason Chad should not be back
The 9 games was complete overkill
Plus the team needs him badly
Dukes did all the Argos could ask of a backup, now it’s time for the real QB1 to take his rightful spot back.

The Second Coming of Chad must not be delayed, for he is necessary in restoring the Argos to glory this season.

Randy needs to put this to bed Thursday or Friday. This provides Kelly and the Argos 2 weeks to prepare. Trevor Harris will be back with the Riders for that game, likely his 2nd game back. Big crowd, good opponent, likely large TV audience. CNE raging around game. Time to start the second half of the season on a role.

He will not have 2 weeks to prepare as teams are not allowed to practice during a bye week. Should he be reinstated for that game, the most practices he will get are 3 + a walk through.

There is no PR advantage for the league to announcing this any earlier than they need to.
