I think he's got a chance. Let's slow down on the star talk.
I didn’t say he was going to be a star, I said he had CFL star “written all over him”, which in case you were unaware is akin to saying he has obvious big potential, especially in a league well-suited to his particular skill set.
That's a distinction without much of a difference.

I watched Duggan with STL of the UFL. His throwing motion needs work....perhaps an entire overhaul. He lacked accuracy but playing spring ball that has a short TC with no Ex games wouldn't help. He can run though.

It's nice to see the Argos actively trying to improve this team. I still have nightmares about 2009 when there was just one player on the practice roster over the final few weeks of the season and the Cynamon/Sokolowski ownership group had clearly given up.

I agree. DT Joe Wallace had a good year in the UFL helping his team win the Title (along with recently signed DB Willie Drew), It appears he is on the active roster and could be on the field Monday in beer smelling city known as "The Hammer".

He carried his team into the 2022 CFP when they had no business being there, on the strength of his personal character, grit and determination. That level of competitiveness can’t be taught. He’s come to the right coach to improve his throwing motion.

Pretty decent US college ball resume; as opposed to signings like Dukes and Scott. Always like a run threat QB in the CFL and a tough competitor is a good thing too (Matt Dunigan like). Hope u are right about this guy Rich - as u were with C. Kelly.

I really like the signings of Duggan and Wallace but admittedly know little of Doiron. However, a little part of me is concerned that the arrival of Duggan is due to some uncertainty over Kelly’s long term health. I hope that this isn’t the case.

Duggan doesn’t have anything close to Chad’s world-class arm, not many QBs do, but when we talk about tough competitors Duggan is like next level. His play in that ‘22 playoff has become the stuff of legend. He got absolutely pummelled again and again, both running the ball and passing, but he somehow kept getting up and making big plays against a highly-favoured opponent. It was unforgettable.
