Coxie went out of bounds twice on the last possession, then Dinwiddie kept calling pass plays that also stopped the clock. I guess he had so little faith in the D that he felt Argos had to score a TD rather than a FG. There are a lot of reasons why Hamilton won (and deserved to win) the game, but that clock mgmt was atrocious.

Gonna take a miracle to play at home in November, and it's not at all out of the question that Hamilton passes us. Could have all but wrapped up a playoff spot tonight. What a wasted opportunity.

Brutal bad clock management late before that FG; another 10 seconds off the clock and game was over.

Very disappointing defence; not enough pass rush (why not blitz way more?); and that ultra soft zone D allowing a vet QB all kinds of easy throws.

This is looking like a very mediocre Argo team in a season of average to iffy CFL teams. Not near good enough.

Big time over-rated IMO (another James Butler); but playing very well in his Rider debut with a fantastic run to put them in close for a TD

Mediocre is a good word for it. It looked to me like Hamilton kept in an extra blocker a lot of the time, so even when Toronto blitzed there was little pressure. And who would have foreseen the second coming of Bo? He was on fire tonight and is shaping up as probable East nominee for MOP.

They were playing as if they had 1 minute left instead of 2:30 on that drive. They were a slip away from the TD to Daniels though. As you ssid Dinwiddie knew the Argo defence just cannot stop Hamilton this year and decided to go for the TD instead.

They wouldn't have had to stop Hamilton for a minute if they had run a couple of plays. Might have left them 20 seconds or so.

Parity for sure...still say it will take 8 wins to be in the playoffs with or without a crossover.
Ticats get to 8 wins means that they must win 6 of their last 7, and if that happens they SHOULD be a playoff team.
Will Sask reach 8 wins ?? hard to say right now.
I'm already crossing-off the Elks and the Stamps.

one more point...that's 3 straight wins for Ticats, something the Argos have not done all year.
BAD NEWS for Ticats is they have no more 2024 games against the Argos :)

Ticats are 2-9 against everyone but the Argos; the Argos are 7-4 against everyone but Hamilton.

Every game left for every team is going to be a dog fight it looks like, and then the playoffs. Honestly any team (other than Calgary) has a shot at a GC. Makes for compelling TV as a fan. I don't think tonight's game was mediocre. It was entertaining and could have gone either way. Hamilton is not a bad team and they are playing desperate.
