I agree, playoff success as a team overrides individual awards.
Chad’s MOP award last season seemed rather empty after the team got their asses handed to them in the Eastern Final.
I'd like to see the Argo players collect extra $$ with the award.
You're so greedy.
That's not very nice of you.

It's like Batman said in the 60s: "You are not a nice person, Catwoman!"

Seriously, I really don't care about personal awards. Maybe it's better this way.

Pretty sure each playoff win brings them more $$$ than an award does.

For sure, no argument there.

How many of Bridges' yards were after beatdown also? I have never seen the media enamoured with a 7-11 non-playoff team like they seem to be with this year's Ticats.

I used to care about personal awards back in the early 1980s and then stopped caring about them, but the Polk thing just burns me for some reason.

Had he been starter from day one, and Chad played a full season, he would have led the league in receiving. There would have been no doubt. A long playoff run and 300 plus yards of receiving and 3 TDs will put all of this out of our minds.

When does the league announce the MOGP candidates?

In Ryan Dinwiddie's postgame comments on Saturday, he pondered out loud why Polk is not the East nominee for rookie-of-the-year.

Alot of folks should be pondering that. In fairness the Argos were simply not a vertical threat in the first 9 games that they are now. I'd like to see his stats broken up into 6 game chunks. By the time his numbers started to jump off the page the die was already cast for Bridges.

Polk's last six games were off the charts.
