Some pretty good signings by the Argonauts including DB Ciante Evans.

I've mentioned before that Edm is a great place to live. Traffic, while much heavier than when I lived there, is way less of an issue than in Toronto. The cost of living is considerably lower. No provincial sales tax. Great river valley. Not everyone wants to be that far away from other major cities, and obviously if you are heavily into live music or theatre, there's no comparison to Toronto. The winters are long and cold, but sunny. From a purely financial standpoint, the salaries don't need to be even for Edmonton to come out ahead, and if you are looking for a good place to raise a family, you can do a lot worse than Edm.
And don't forget Dallas Pizza.

They probably liked their QB room. I lost faith in Dukes last year.
It's also possible that Dukes doesn't make it out of training camp, depending on who else they bring in (if anyone). At worst, they have a third stringer who has started and won games in this league, although there is no doubt that he has limitations.
His limitation being " The Down Field Pass".
I wonder how far he can actually throw a ball. Technique alone should get a pro QB 50 yards, yet I don’t think I’ve ever seen him throw more than 30 in the air. If you can’t reach the sideline or go deep, those zones get really tight and teams can afford to also spy him. He’s really ineffective at the moment.

That’s exactly what happened when other DC’s got a read on Dukes, clog up the short to medium passes and dare him to throw deep which he struggled to do.

I'm sure Dukes can throw a football 50 yards, the question is, how long does it take for the ball to travel that far?

Should the Argos check in with DE Bryan Cox Jr?

A bunch of CFL GMs have a real propensity to re-cycle players who got some playing time on another CFL team, even if that player was average to mediocre there.
Rather see the Argos focus on the recruit/ sign / draft of some new talent instead as a good plan; they have already added a number of vet FAs like Lanier, Ciante Evans, Bratton, Mayala, Rutledge, Christmas

After he flipped the " Double Bird" to the Winnipeg crowd after losing the Western Football Conference Final last season, definitely not! There is no place for that kind of schnanigans in pro sports!

I kind of like his “competitive fire”, football is not a polite business.
Like father like son.

I don't know. That actually makes me like him a bit.
