Its startling to see pictures of the offensive linemen for the Argos, and what huge humans they are.

However, it doesn't mean much if they can't actually move defensive players off the line of scrimmage in important situations.

It will be interesting to see how they fare in short yardage situations this year as they certainly weren't very good at this last year. Those short and failure to convert situations are drive killers.

In the end, they won the championship, so it wasn’t that big an issue that they couldn’t overcome. I put more of it on the QB’s running the sneaks to be honest.

Those two guys spent a lot of time chatting after they came out of the game. It's good to see Hunter (presumably) helping his colleague. To my eyes, Hunter does not look only two inches shorter than Moore. I wonder if he's closer to 6-2 than 6-4.

With Cox looking to be out for the year, it puts even more pressure on the DL. Shall we see some late recruiting for the DL? Saw to replay of Williams TD---great block by Herslow, to help open the hole for Williams. Herslow may not be the biggest or faster WR in camp but he continues to make good plays. Hope he makes the team.

Cox has the much sought after (by some) CFL "experience" but he was hardly a stud DE with the Riders; more like a guy who flashed some decent talent in a lot of playing time - as a lot of players who get that opportunity do. I hope the Argos are able to find & deploy some new DE talent; like Parish from last season; and that might include giving a pair of former all-Canadian DEs in Hergott & Ojo real shots at playing time.

This is classic CFL rinse-and-repeat: reward mediocrity as long as it comes wrapped in "experience" and a U.S. passport. Yet here we are again, penciling Cox Jr in because he’s “been around.” So has rust—doesn’t mean I want it on the roster.

Give Hergott and Ojo the snaps. Let them fail on the field if they’re going to fail at all.

Yeah; maybe this guy is on the clandestine meetings the GOBs are holding? How dare him want to see Canadian talent rate a shot ?

"Conspiracy" :roll:

Perhaps I've missed an inside joke. I don't know why it's a conspiracy theory to try and identify and develop our next batch of Canadian starters on defence.
Smith got paid (and good for him) and I don't see anyone prioritizing finding his replacement. And I don't mean a retread, I mean we drafted Hergott and Ojo in hopes that they would develop.
Call me a crazy conspiracy theorist but those two (and others like them) won't reach their potential on the practice roster... Assuming they wouldn't get poached by a team willing to be innovative and actually play Canadian talent.
