In contrast, Montreal forced to go to their 2nd stringer in Hamilton and MBT looked quite bad. The Als didn't try and run the ball all that much either.
Overall Week 4 observation, the drop-off from 1st-string QB to backup QB, across the CFL, sure looks deeper than I had expected it would.
Masoli has been terrible for BC. Bad picks.
MBT did not play to his or his teams strengths
Shiltz has not stepped up and Crum has not developed despite much play time now in Ottawa.
Arbuckle has been improving game over game.
Maier managed game on a well balanced team.
Streveler stepped up.

The short training camps and reduced pre season really hurts the development of young QB’s in my opinion, but I get it. Training camp and pre season games cost the teams money. It’s necessary to limit losses.

6 of 9 teams have started games with their back ups in the first 4 weeks. Let's hope the QBs get healthy and play.
Kelly vs. Rourke - which has never happened yet is what fans need to see at the CNE game NOT Arbuckle vs. Masoli.
Collaros vs. Harris
Brown vs. Alexander
That was the promise of the 2025 season. Let's hope it plays out from week 7 on. And then let's see what Luke has to say.

Exactly. If it were Kelly vs Brown last night, we would have seen a very different game.

The guy is trashing the product again today. Nothing wrong with criticism of aspects of the game - which we all have - but he goes beyond that and then insults those who don't agree with him. He is complaining about 3 of the 4 games this past weekend not being to his liking but fails to acknowledge that just one starting QB played in those games. He acts like he is bringing us lowly, unintelligent CFL fans great knowledge and wisdom that only he possesses.

TSN needs to move on from Willson.
It’s one thing to offer up some constructive criticism of the league but Willson goes way beyond that, get rid of him immediately!

What did Willson say? I can't find anything.

I believe it was in response to Michael Ball's tweet.

I haven't seen the latest Wilson comments but sounds like he is Arash Madani 2.0. " I care about the league, but it needs to be criticized".
