I'd watch - from the Invitational:
a couple of productive U Sports RBs: R. Frank (Sask.) & O. Ho-Sang (Bishops) - both likely need to have very good testing #s to show CFL GOB scouts they can play STs well, though they should get looked at for pure tailback skills as well.
O-Linemen - Josh Reitveld (Laurier - massive OG - 2nd team all-Canadian); & Mitch Martel (Bishops - 3 time AUS all-star - so similar resume to Argos' Anthony Vandal)
I wonder if they will have either (or both) of Tachinksi & Hillock advance to the main Combine - that would make 4 QBs (along with the 2 Q guys), and that might be too much for the GOBs.

Abbott likely has a lot of CFL insider info to offer, so he might have heard about some of the higher rated prospects BEFORE either Combine; Abbott is also very good at mouthing GOB cliches and babble, and is often quite dismissive of top U Sports talent. Tachinski can't barely throw a pass but maybe he will make another Brad Sinopoli slotback project transfer. A bunch of these other guys might be able to overcome their feeble football abilities and inferior training to maybe get a shot to play STs (hey, a long-snapper or good blocker) in the CFL.

During 3downnation podcast they were talking more about Tachinski. Said his passing numbers have dropped off last season. Said he could be a Streveler type quarterback. Suggested he could only be a receiver conversion if he runs lower than 4.7.
Then they don't know what they are talking about or else can't read a U Sport stats page; Tachinksi had his best completion % last season in his 2 years as the main starter, and most yds/ game. I've seen only a bit of his play (East-West game and some Bisons hi-lites) but enough to know there is not a thing wrong with his passing arm - it's easily as strong as a bunch of American QBs who get to make CFL rosters; but hey, why spoil the standard party line bull$hite that CFL GOBs and their dupes in the media (like a lot of 3 Down reporters) use to discredit or write-off Canadian trained QB talent. Been going on for decades now; not going to change soon. They will find things wrong with the "arm strength" or passing "mechanics" of Desjardins, Senecal, Hillock and likely Elgersma too. But hey, maybe they can play slotback or safety in the GOB CFL.

Tachinski's East West 40 times;
40-Yard Dash: 4.95 sec (laser) | 4.73 sec (hand)
Not a good 40 time at all; especially for a running / dual-threat QB.
Mind u - Andy Fantuz ran a 5.0 second 40 at his CFL Combine; how did he pan out at the CFL level ?
