Not a bad result on that drive -- the Argos do let Montreal march down the field, but a missed FG and a rouge gives the Als a 1-0 lead.

Not great starts to either offensive drive with an illegal procedure and offside penalties taken respectively.

Team looks rather out of sync to start this game.

Hopefully that 2nd and long conversion to Brissett gets things going.

Too many errors in that half:

1. Offside and illegal procedure penalties taken on the first three drives;

2. Arbuckle takes a huge sack to take out of FG range;

3. Arbuckle throws INT in MTL territory;

4. The Als defensive TD, whatever happened there;

Offense looks terrible, but the defense wasn't bad that half, all things considered.

Very sloppy execution on part of the offense. The offensive line doesn't seem to be getting any push on run plays which is very disappointing. Perhaps they are still getting used to their new line setup.

As for the booth review on the Als defensive TD, it was a bad call. Arbuckle still had enough control for the ball to be thrown. Otherwise, it wouldn't have travelled the distance that it did.

It seems that Arbuckle is looking for Coxie a bit too much but then again, he seems to be the only one getting open.

The ball was not travelling forward before Arbuckle got rid of it - slipped out of his hand = correct call IMO.

Argos hanging in though against a very good Als team; i was questioning their decision to hand the keys to Alexander, but if that kid can continue to develop as a passer, plus they get and play-call for his dual threat running ability, they could have a very powerful offence IMO.

Was the decision to hand over the ball to Alexander much different from the Argos handing the ball over to Kelly in 2023? We had an idea of what Chad might be able to do from the '22 Grey Cup, but it was still a gamble, IMO.
