Rich, you are dead wrong there. Ask any coach, and o-lineman. That is 100%!on the line.
Nothing is 100% in this complicated world. But pocket awareness, arm angle and optimal reads are three things that can help QBs avoid pass knockdowns.
Those pass knockdowns really are on the o-line. Dinwiddie and Arbuckle talked about it post-game: https://youtu.be/VjknDevmyiw?si=qe8OPg0dde5oTmSM
Interesting to see RD acknowledge that Jefferson was essentially spying NA, playing for the pass knockdowns. And yet they didn’t seem to adjust for this, and in fact continued to throw in Jefferson’s direction. Strange.

You are correct Ravi, most of the offensive woes (QB pressures, lack of running game, short yardage difficulties) lead back to the poor performance of the Argos O-Line.
Surely personnel decisions have something to do with the lack of running game. Having two, slight scatback-type players as your only RB options is really dumb. I like McMahon but watching him in pass pro is painful. So if you’re not going to run your backs, at least use them in screens and stuff, right? Nope, there was none of that either. Strange.

A fair point Rich but it would also be tough sledding for a bruising back if the O-Line can’t open up any running lanes and continuously gets dominated at the line of scrimmage.

What to do about the o-line? The tackle positions seem to be the biggest problems. Bosse has lots of potential but I am sure the Argos didn't want to force him into a starting role at this point in his career. Moore seems to have really struggled at times too. I am not sure that Vandal has been as good this year either but that may also be a function of the other changes they have had to make to the line.

Where do they go from here? Hope that continuity will eventually pay off? Give a call to someone like Isaiah Cage if he's still willing to play? Move Shane Richards over to right tackle? Move Doxtater to right tackle and put Richards in at left guard? Put Ciraco back at centre and move Nicastro to guard while having either Richards or Doxtater play right tackle?

Chop Williams, a bruising back, has been the most productive one but when will he return to the lineup?

Not sure when Williams will be ready to return.
I suspect O-Line will be a top priority for next years CFL draft.

But all those pass knockdowns — was it a record number? — they are on the QB, not the OLine. Wake Up man!

Really? How would you know all that?

Another winnable gone to waste. So many miscommunications on the Oline. The Dejon Allen trade, which I believe was pushed by the owners due to salary, might just rank up there with the Brad Elberg for Dave Mudge deal. I've lost count of how many ST return TDs have been allowed, so uncharacteristic of Donnovan's units. The D was great last night. Aaron Casey looks to be a player. Arbuckle had 1 bad throw in the 4th when perhaps he should have led Ungerer and Coxie is the best R in the league, not Lawler. Goal line offence continues to haunt this team it seems. I noticed Mayala alot in the place of Mital, but no word from TSN if he was hurt.

With Ottawa beating Calgary Thursday, next week's game looks to be a real " Slobber Knocker".

Every late game rally has ended with an interception or turnover this season. I never realized it was the oline making those throws this whole time.
