Kicker Brady Lidster has been moved to the active roster; kicker Lirim Hajrullahu wasn't at practice on Wednesday. Also, National offensive lineman Frank Vreugdenhil has been put on the active roster while receiver Tristan Ready and LB Jalen Rayam have both been moved to the practice roster.

It’s Friday, has the team said a word about Chad’s condion yet? Are we supposed to rely on Naylor’s tweet like that’s that? Do they not know for sure his situation yet? Is he still waiting to see a doctor in an ER somewhere? Do they not think their fans would be highly interested in this information? Or maybe the news was really bad and they’re looking for a second opinion?

I would trust Naylor on this. Otherwise, we will know officially on Sunday when they begin practising again.

The team has been on a bye week. The players are not required to be in town, let alone at the facility. There is zero chance the team will or would say anything about Kelly's condition before practice resumes, and even then it will be only if the coach is asked in a scrum or by reference on the injury report.

Sunday is day 1 for the home opener. Where that practice will take place is anyone's guess, but we will know when the injury report is released if not sooner.

I can understand withholding the information if he was hurt, but it makes no sense to not say he’s fine and ready to go, unless they’re actively trying to discourage advance ticket sales for the game, which, given the ownership is a sad possibility I suppose.

Naylor is one of the few I trust. I hope he doesn't make me regret saying that.

Maybe he wasn’t given the whole story. Maybe things took a turn for the worse after the initial diagnosis. I think we should all be concerned.

What is it you think they should do? Hold a news conference? Issue a press release?

Well this being the 21st Century a social media post saying he’s good to go would have been a good start.
