What is it you think they should do? Hold a news conference? Issue a press release?
Well this being the 21st Century a social media post saying he’s good to go would have been a good start.
They’re on a bye week, should no urgency to make any announcement regarding Kelly IMO.

He hasn't even been in the building since the bye week began. I don't think they will even know if he's good to go until at least Monday. This seems like a lot of needless worrying at this point.

You’re probably right Paul. They don’t know at this point if he can play Thursday. But that’s a different impression than Naylor left us with.

Kelly went full in practice today.

So is Cam Judge, which is good news because Owen Goss isn't.

Argos have released Keegan O'Neil and acquired Chris Kolankowski from Hamilton for a sixth-rounder. He's on the downside of his career but at least gives us an experienced backup on the o-line. He was the only backup Hamilton dressed on Saturday so who knows what they are gonna do on the o-line.

I think acquiring an experienced backup was key. The Argos had been dressing O'Neil and Piazza who didn't have the most experience. But, I think both back-ups (Kolankowski and Piazza) are more in-tune for the interior.

Quite the rotating door of back-up O-linemen from end of TC till now.

Kolankowski for the vet experience and Piazza as the young guy; both are interior guys (Piazza was a Q all-star at OT one season, but no way he plays there in the CFL - both of Hunter and Shepley could bump out to OT if need be)

Piazza was put on the PR today. Desmond Bland appears to have injured his shoulder in practice. I really hope that the Argos don't dress just one backup o-lineman; that's playing with fire.

Additionally, LB James Neal has been added to the active roster from the PR.

Finally, John Murphy was critical on Twitter today of how the Argos have managed their OL assets; we heard similar criticism on here from Paul about that.

Murphy's not a disinterested observer, obviously, but it's pretty hard to argue against the notion that what had potentially been an area of decent depth -- albeit the o-line did not play well at all last year -- has become quite thin. At this time last year many of us expected Doxtater and Dankwah would be fixtures here for a long time. Dankwah may or may not ever return to the league, but Doxtater would certainly be a useful backup. O'Neil, Coakes, Vandal and Bosse are also gone, some more lamentably than others.
