CFL.ca transactions show Mason Pierce back on the PR while Quincy Mauger added to Game Roster.

I guess that this means that Mauger is back at SAM and Priester may go into Pierce's spot. Tackling will be more paramount this week against the Riders bigger receivers.

Maybe some of the "non-performers" on the practice roster will be cut to make room for NFL cuts that the Argos are interested in.

Speaking of these potential cuts, QB's on the team's neg list include Jason Bean and John Rhys Plumlee who are currently auditioning with Indianapolis and Pittsburgh respectively. Both are longshots to make the team but both are very intriguing athletes. I compare Plumlee to Dukes a lot (Plumlee may be a better athlete) but I'm not sure of his arm strength. Bean is quite fast and has a good arm but not as experienced.

George Jr knows the name of every CFL receiver as he was constantly chasing them from behind.
