More like Steve Lawrence and Edi Gourmet.gilthethrill wrote: ↑Mon Jun 08, 2026 5:36 pmIt should be noted that Montreal starting C Justin "Don't call me Joey " Lawrence suffered an injury in the season opener.
Best team in the East by a substantial margin at this time, the only caveat is Alexander’s hamstring which seems to be a constant aggravation.TrueBlueGuy wrote: ↑Sun Aug 02, 2026 7:38 pm now up to 7and1 and am giving serious respect to the Als, from an Argos&CFL fan.
Alexander has that gonna-win-regardless Doug Flutie attitude IMO.
Maas has really advanced as a HC, and their play-calling is topnotch.
Throw in a running game, very knowledgeable Def.Co-ord and excellent receivers, the Als are the
best team in the CFL over 1st 9 weeks of 2026, IMO.
Not how you start. How you finish. We learned that the hard way in 2023 and the Alouettes learned that the hard way in 2024.ARGO57 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 02, 2026 7:55 pmBest team in the East by a substantial margin at this time, the only caveat is Alexander’s hamstring which seems to be a constant aggravation.TrueBlueGuy wrote: ↑Sun Aug 02, 2026 7:38 pm now up to 7and1 and am giving serious respect to the Als, from an Argos&CFL fan.
