Apparently a head coach is supposed to call every one of his ex players that signed with another team in free agency. Is Pickett delusional or bitter for no reason?
Pickett took the most money offered as he always did. I doubt one phone call would've stopped him and I don't see the Argos paying him what Ottawa did since they chose to re-sign McManis. Pickett is just playing a heal. I don't think any other ex-teammate would have took a shot at their QB like that either. If Pickett has issues and isn't a team guy, then good riddance.
I asked him how many playoff victories he has been a part of in this league on Twitter. Crickets. Strange, he usually comes back at me.
Ha, ha - good one, and he won't be getting one this year either. Love to see the RedBlacks host the East semi (partly cause I can go to the game), and the Argos bring their A game and blow the over-rated goofs out.
Not sure why the guy needs to run his yap - let your play do the talking instead of taking cheap shots at other players/teams. I sort of doubt anybody from the Argos started a war of words by calling him a traitor or something (or did somebody?).

Without looking it up to be sure, I think the Argonauts have won a grand total of four playoff games on the road since the B.C. Lions entered the league in 1954. To get to this year's Grey Cup, they will have to win two in two weeks.
A very good estimate Paul. The Argos have won a grand total of 5 road playoff games in the aforementioned time frame ( I used Wikipedia). It last occurred in 2010 when we narrowly beat Hamilton. The other seasons were 1955, 1961, 1986, & 1987. Things might not look so great for the team currently, but we still have a third of the season left. Hopefully, we can build some momentum for the playoffs.

What about the 2004 and 2012 Eastern Finals in Montreal?
The four I came up with off the top of my head were 86, 87, 04 and 12. I forgot about 10 and would have found out those two earlier ones only if I looked it up. So it's seven in 70 years.

The 2010 season is the only one I can remember where the Argos won the ESF on the road, and thus had a chance to advance to the Grey Cup on the road. They beat Hamilton, but got blown out by Montreal. The 1987, 2004 and 2012 road wins were after the Argos had won ESF at home.
