There are an additional 5 players not presently on the roster list, who were signed to a future contracts for 2025.

The Roster list on the Argo site contains a number of players who are not yet under contract for 2025 (such as Carey, Cage etc).

TORONTO—The Toronto Argonauts Football Club announced today that it has signed American defensive lineman Andre Carter. Carter's negotiation rights were obtained in a trade earlier this month with Ottawa for Canadian running back Daniel Adeboboye.
Carter (6'5"/270lbs) spent time with the Cincinnati Bengals and Jacksonville Jaguars in 2024 after being signed as an undrafted free agent by the Jags in May. The defensive lineman played one season at Indiana University in 2023 tallying 49 tackles, 11 for loss, and two sacks in 12 games played for the Hoosiers. Before playing at IU, the Detroit native played five seasons with Western Michigan (2018-2022) where he recorded 132 tackles, 28 for loss, 12.5 sacks, one interception, and five forced fumbles in 47 games.

Good-looking prospect, nice resume and good size. As good as the Dline was, they could definitely use more size.

At times like this I don't know if I'm more comforted or frustrated that the Toronto sports media is largely indifferent to us.

Ottawa rounds out their 2025 coaching staff including 2 key defensive coaches with the Argonauts last year (William Fields and Myron Lewis).
Interesting that Lewis made a lateral move in leaving the Argonauts for Ottawa.

To be fair, it isn't a lateral move if he assumes the DC role by himself as opposed to sharing it.
