Do people think that Jones will be with the Tiger Cats next season, or will he move on to other opportunities?
Re: Hamilton Tiger-Cats
I don't see anyone rushing to offer him a coaching job. Milanovich probably survives based on the Ticats second-half, and their defense did look better so yes, I believe he will be back.

Jones doesn't usually stay in one place very long unless he is in charge of everything. I could see him going home and coaching at a small collar even HS.
Hamilton does play well when it doesn't matter, I'll give them that.

I don't think Coach Jones is the highest paid coach in the CFL since leaving the Argos for nothing. I can't imagine how much he must have made collecting a full HC/GM paycheque AND a DC paycheque for the last half of the season.
His release earlier this year was the first time he was fired in his 22 years of coaching at the professional ranks. I wouldn't count him out by any means.

Maybe Jones is a good coach and should focus on just coaching the defence and not worrying about player personnel or who starts etc. Similar to his role with the Browns.AngeloV wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2024 1:47 pmI think he’s a bad GMARGO57 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2024 1:31 pmGood DC, lousy HC.GreyCup1971 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2024 12:37 pm I don't think Coach Jones is the highest paid coach in the CFL since leaving the Argos for nothing.
