Watching at home. Can't get down. Looks like fun. That conductor looks like a Dictator.
A place where Argofans can talk

getting invited onstage was a very pleasant last minute surprise. (But good thing I always have a baton handy.)
The songs are dated of course. I was 1 when that album came out, but my 29 year old son and nephews all like it. The nostalgic feel is great and it connects Argo history with Argo present. It is the perfect TD celebration for the stadium and you on the jumbotron conducting is the cherry on top. It is great to see the team include you today and at the games. Thank you to all who've sung the song this year. I think it's done a lot to help build the community. In Vancouver, in the convention centre, or the BC Place concourse, or at a raucous sports bar after the win, it was really easy to get people singing.
I'm very grateful for the team pushing the song this year and it was especially fun to sing it in BC, the home of Dal Richards, the late BC Lions bandleader and creator of the 1968 album 'CFL Songs' that gave us 'Go Argos Go.' (But I was sad to hear from a few Lions fans that their new owner doesn't like 'Roar You Lions Roar' - from the same album - so they don't play that at BC games any more.)
Contrary to the wishes of the corporate owners, IMO, it is high time to reintroduce the Argonotes back to the game operations. Anytime I watch college football in the US, the bands are a big part of the game atmosphere especially in the southeast. Band music alternated with piped-in music would enhance the experience and would flow better between playsScooter McCray wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 7:50 pmThe songs are dated of course.
