Not sure I'm too crazy about this one. Judge never got on track with the Argos back in 2021. Seems, again, like savings.

I think this is a sign that McManus is not coming back.

But, are either Varga or Judge natural fits at MIKE?

A $54,000 saving in cap space. This should help in signing some of our free agents--- (McManis/Ceresna???) Orimalade was the highest paid D lineman in league but it could be argued his production in 2024 did not reflect that. Orimalade had 17 tackles and 6 sacks whereas rookie Parish had 21 tackles and 6 sacks. Perhaps the team feels Parish is ready to become a full time starter at DE.

I trust the Argos have a plan, adjusting their salary allocation ahead of free agency.

Orimolade did miss some time to injury, but I see what you're saying.

Not worried at all. I just trust the process. Last year I would be much more upset but seeing how the team responded in the past, I’m confident the team has some sort of plan in place.

All will be revealed in due course, but my gut tells me McManis won't be back, and will be in Hamilton. Really hope I'm wrong.

Marty York is reporting Murphy (who I guess is still involved if true) is telling players they need to accept pay cuts. Players are not happy. Maybe hence the exodus/trades.

...and you believe Marty York?
This isn't 1985.
