My vote is for Darrell K. Smith.
Is the team just naming 1 player per season, though?

All of these names are worthy of being all-time Argos, and I'm betting DK won't be added to that list this year (hopefully one of these years). But DK's omission from the Hall of Fame is a massive oversight. His stats in every receiving category (receptions, yards, TDs; both career-wise and on a per-game basis) compare extremely favourably to -- and in some cases better than -- those of recent Hall inductees Terry Greer, Mervyn Fernandez and David Williams. Greer is the greatest receiver in Argo history, and he and Merv are the two best I've ever seen in this league, but DK is up there, too.

As others have noted all of these players are more than worthy of such an honour.
Factoring in excellence in performance and longevity I’d look at Carl Brazely and Kevin Eiben.
Brazely would get the nod because he played in a previous era than Eiben.

Agreed on the worthiness of these great Argos, and also the factors of Argo service and performance - playing many Argo games and at a very high level.
Might have to go with Eiben amongst these on the strength of his 160 plus Argo career games and his outstanding D play-making.

Leo Cahill is another guy who should be in the Hall of Fame. He was the greatest showman Canadian football ever had, and an absolutely outstanding talent recruiter, both in his initial stint with the Argos and in his later incarnation (1986-88) as GM. He brought Willie Pless, among others, into this league. The fact he never won "the big game" has long been held against him, but it's the Hall of Fame, not the Hall of Champions, and there was no one in Canadian football more famous than Leo Cahill in the late 1960s and early 1970s.

What a list. I'd like 'em all in it.
We have been blessed.

Terrible oversight not just by the league, but specifically the Argos.
100% he should be in both the Argos All time list and the HOF.
Question though: Is the All time Argos only for players? Do they have any coaches or executives on the list?

The Argos recently started a builders list (Peter Martin went up there, for example). Not sure if Leo Cahill is on it or whether it is displayed within the stadium.
