Are the Argos finally getting the recognition they deserve? Is this a curse in disguise as a blessing? Is this even accurate in your opinion?

I also make us as favourites... But offering +325 before the 18 game season even starts makes it an awful betting proposition.
Edit to add: on the other hand, if you're a TiCat supporter (ie: you've had a frontal lobotomy), putting down $100 to get a $2000 payout is pretty good (if you can afford a $100 loss).

When you've won 2 of the past GCs, sandwiched around an all-time league best regular season mark, and still have the HC who guided u there = should be favorites IMO ... even with all the tough losses of top D players; still got the QB, excellent O-line, outstanding LBs and plenty of other talent.
The Als will be a stiff challenge to win the East though, IMO.

The Argo strategy in 2026, at least until they see what they have on defence will have to be to unleash the offence and outscore the opponent. With a healthy Chad Kelly and a fully returning offence and Dinwiddie calling the plays this is very doable. Chad could throw for 6,000 yards in 18 games. I do not see any other offence set up the way Toronto is. Offence alone can get it done this year.

The D may take some time to hit stride early in the season so the O may need to pick up the slack.
I suspect there will be a lot of tinkering with the defensive personnel early in the season considering over half of the D haven’t played together and there are a couple of new coaches on that side of the ball.
I’m looking forward to seeing how things shake out.

Definitely, outscoring our opponent should always be the plan. /s
The Punt/Kick/Return combo we have is going to be tilting the field all season for us. So while we all expect to be looking for 7's every possession, we'll have a lot of 3's when the Offence stalls against a tough defence.
On the defensive side of the ball, even with all of the personnel turnover, we've got a lot of guys who can play. Will they get pressure and disrupt offences like before? I don't see it. Having opposition QBs more settled will also shift responsibility to our backfield.
