Hard to say. So much cloak and dagger around the situation. Cleared for practice says what exactly? He’s ready, no? Of course, none of us know exactly how well and strong his healing was, but I bet coach does. Keep Montreal guessing, I think they have a fantastic young team.
I honestly can't see how you start Kelly when all he did all pre-season was throw in street clothes. Even if it is said he is "healed", that means one thing for just normal living. Playing football at the pro level is a different thing completely. The worst possible outcome would be if he came into the game, and got re-injured.ArgoZ wrote: ↑Sun Jun 01, 2025 10:49 amHard to say. This is what I’m thinking as well.ArgoGabe22 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 01, 2025 3:25 pm I would sit Kelly for one week. Have him dress but not start.
I see no point in dressing him unless he's 100%, and if he's 100% he starts.ArgoGabe22 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 01, 2025 3:25 pm I would sit Kelly for one week. Have him dress but not start.
Chad Kelly is the clear leader of this team , and his presence on the sideline in uniform would be an inspiration even if he doesn’t play. Obviously he’s close to 100%, so if he’s dressed maybe he could come in in the 4th and pull a win out of the fire if needed.paulwoods13 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 01, 2025 4:27 pmI see no point in dressing him unless he's 100%, and if he's 100% he starts.ArgoGabe22 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 01, 2025 3:25 pm I would sit Kelly for one week.
