The biggest test of the season so far. Interesting to see how Cam Dukes reacts.
Be nice to get a bit of revenge for the east final last year.

Should be another exciting game at BMO. Argos on a shorter week, but home field should make that a wash. Looking forward to this game.

A very tough test coming up this Friday, hopefully they can clean up some things in the defensive secondary and put some pressure on Captain Cody.
Should be fun!

This will be a difficult game to win. The team must put pressure on the Montreal QB if they are to have any hope. They will miss Orimolade. In last year's Eastern final they did manage to put real pressure on the QB, especially Oakman. BTW where is Oakman now and why has no other team picked him up?

Call this a test or a measuring stick game for the Argos, and I will agree completely.
However the one who has the most to gain or lose from this matchup is Cameron Dukes. If the Argos win this game, it will pretty much solidify Dukes' status as a top CFL starting QB. If the team loses, many of us will be chanting for Kelly's return.

Pressure on Cody will be important. They did that in the East Final, sacking him almost double digits. The guy is tough as nails physically and mentally and weathered the storm and of course the Argos had their worst offensive performance in years that day and handed the game and short fields to Cody repeatedly.
Cam Dukes has not been a turnover machine. He has played within himself, and executed at a very high level particularly when in scoring range.
I would feel better with a full contingent of players; ie - Daniels and Orimolade but depth has been the Argos friend the last few years.
Agree with everyone this is a big test early on. For first place. Go Argos!

Can't help but think Elks were a couple plays a way from winning last friday. If they had signed Oakman that might have made the difference. He had a couple brilliant shifts against Montreal last year. Looking forward to the game on Friday.

We need to make Fajardo have his first bad day of the season.
And frankly, I'm not sure how we do it.

Some, sure. But many? My impression is that Argo fans in general are prepared to give Dukes more than three games (in two of which he played extremely well) before hitting the panic button.
