Argofans

DaVaris will be missed. I thank him for his contributions to the team from 2020 to 2025, a run that saw two Grey Cups and some of the best football the Argos have ever played.

I thought he had a year or two left in him but I can't fault him for retiring.

A class act who made some huge plays for the Argos, like his twisting TD reception late in the game in Hamilton in 2021 and his shocking TD catch-and-run off a short-yardage formation in the 2022 Eastern Final. He will be missed for his leadership and his connection with the fans as well as his abilities as a receiver and blocker.

I was hoping for an announcement of his further involvement with the team in some capacity. Coaching, other. His father is now coaching in Ottawa.
He was a good, professional player who could be counted on.

What a catch, what a throw, what a game that was. MBT grabbed that game by the horns and won it, probably his best performance as an Argo.

Thank you to DaVaris for his contributions over his 5 years with the Argos. He was a significant part of a 5-year stretch that was among the best for the team that many of us have ever seen.
